BRIEF
INTRODUCTION
The institute (Liaoning non-ferrous
geological exploration institute) is a state-owned
prospecting and mining unit operations focused
mainly in the Liaoning province and the rest
provinces of China. It holds not only the national
certificate of geology and mineral exploration,
but a first-class certificate of disaster protecting
geology issued by the Ministry of Land and Resources.
Besides solid mineral exploration, it also concerns
in other geological fields like geological disaster
protecting, engineering geology, environmental
geological protecting and agricultural geological
prospecting.
The
institute has 8 branches, all of them are in
Liaoning. There are three branches in Shenyang.
There are a branche and a drilling company in
Dandong. The others are in Tieling, Fushun,
Chaoyang ,Huludao respectively. There are 498
staffs who are rich experienced in geological
prospecting field. high knowledgeable. There
are 5 proffessors,76 senior engineers and 146
engineers among the them. There are more than
900 sets of equipments . Its equipment for GPD32Ⅱ
and ICP reaches the world-class level.
The
institute has got the great achievement for
mineral exploration in northeastern and other
areas of China. It has refreshed some old mines
and increased the quantity of their production,
enlarged geological reserves for the mine. The
institute has discovered more than 40 large
and middle scale metallic and non-metallic deposits.
The most of them have been better exploited
since being discovered. In the meanwhile, the
institute has found out a lot of potential areas
for further prospecting.
The statistics shows that the institute has
provided the high rates of the reserves for
some sorts of the deposits in the whole province.
They are respectively as follows: Cu 95.6%,
Pb86.7%, Zn 85.5%, Au 60.9%, Ag 85.5%, Mo 83.1%and
W 100%.
The institute has undertaken 15 national geological
prospecting projects since 2000. All we have
gotten the resources are Au 206 metallic tons,
Ag 1129 metallic tons, Cu 32047 metallic tons,
Co 7848 metallic tons, Ni 27768 metallic tons.
Our strategic plan is that base on prospecting
resources advantage, we strive to achieve and
maintain outstanding performance on both domestic
and oversea geological areas through the promotion
of competitive capability by innovative process
and technologies in the all geological field.
